I have 3 dresses im needing altering. Dress 1: a single layer cotton dress. it's baggy around the waist and the straps need sewing shorter. The dress has buttons and id like it to be lifted in the middle to create a waistline and also taken in to fit me better. dress 2 is a 100% linen dress, its in the cut i want the 1st dress to be sewn to but this one is a just baggy at the waist. It has pockets and buttons. Dress 3: is a halter neck, low cut double lined dress with a zip up the back and the halter neck straps are too wide starting from the bust, id like the straps made thinner and add some loops or buttons to the back to be able to wear as straps. I have my wedding dress, which has just arrived, that needs some alterations. It is corset backed. Currently the corset needs to be taken in 1 inch on either side. So 2 inch total. One strap could also be shortened (I have scoliosis so my shoulders are wonky). My wedding is Saturday 13 April this year as we had to move the date up. So only 3 weeks to get this done. Im happy to pay a bit extra given its a rush job. Im based in Monash but am happy to drop the dress off anywhere in Canberra and collect when ready.
Faiqa was absolutely amazing to work with and the quality of her work is fantastic. Faiqa took on time sensitive alterations on a corset backed ball gown. I'm extremely pleased with the quality of alterations, her communication throughout the process, pricing, and shes just lovely. 10/10!
