Gas safety checks have been done and all checks passed. Appliances: gas hot water and cooktop. Central heating also exists but not operational. It appears that the plumber who conducted the tests is not licensed by VBA. The VBA's website says: "[the person is] not currently licensed or registered with the Victorian Building Authority". The main metre was also looked at (and repaired) by Multinet for a tiny leak less thatn a month ago. So the checks should be completed by a competent plumber in a under 15 minutes :) Obviously I am looking for a plumber who is licensed to do gas safety checks and issue the certificate.

Hello. Our gas ducted heating has not switched on this year. We had our hot water changed from gas to electricity and I thought maybe it has something to do with that. Perhaps some air in the lines…I am no expert. We figure it needs a service and a check from someone who is authorised to work with gas appliances

Moved house. When I plug my washing machine hose in it leaks from connection point. Bought new washer (15mm) but have no idea frankly and just need someone to fix the issue. Probable initial task: 1. Replace washer in plug. 2. Plug into tap. 3. Run test load. Hopefully issue fixed. If not troubleshoot with me. (eg. Run a load, make sure not leaking anymore).
